The Dog-Cademy Awards

So what is it?

The Dog-Cademy Awards is a fundraising film festival supporting The Moxie Cinema, where you submit your best videos (or even photos!) of your dogs, and we screen them at The Moxie, and celebrate the best at our Dog-Cademy Awards Gala! We're looking for everything from simple videos you take with your pups on your phone, to fully produced canine masterpieces! No dog video is too big, no dog video is too small! We've got a few examples below, to help get your creative juices flowing.

When is it?

We'll be accepting submissions until Aug 15 - the link and instructions to submit are below.

We'll be holding screenings of the submitted films on Sunday evenings in Sept, just before the Awards Ceremony, which will be at Mother's Brewing Company on Saturday, Oct 3.

What are you looking for?

Almost any kind of dog film is great! Caught your dog stealing pizza from the table? Send it in! Taught your puppy a great trick? Send it in! Have a story you narrated, with footage of your dog while you tell it? Send it in! Have a Hollywood-worthy dog epic? Send it in! We've got some examples below to give you some ideas, but don't them limit your imagination!
