Closet Space is a blind dating show for lesbians, bisexuals and other queer-identifying individuals in underrepresented areas. In the middle of a sleepover-style set, one lucky contestant is presented with four potential dates, locked behind closet doors. Selecting from several categories, like “Skeletons in the Closet” (a red flag item) and “Soapbox” (a passion), the contestant learns more about who they want to take out based on objects the dates have buried in their closets. Closet Space utilizes a live studio audience as a community mixer for queer individuals to build connections in areas that typically lack LGBTQIA+ third spaces. [ClosetspaceTV.com]
